Ingredients
  

  • 6 toasted kaiser rolls split
  • 6 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon celery seasoning salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon roasted garlic salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground chipotle pepper
  • 12 thick slices of ripe tomato
  • 6 crisp lettuce leaves
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

Instructions
 

Step 1: Prepare the Chicken

  • Start by seasoning your chicken breasts. Combine olive oil with celery seasoning salt, roasted garlic salt, lemon zest seasoning, smoked paprika, black pepper, and chipotle pepper in a large bowl.

Step 2: Marinate

  • Once well-combined, add the chicken breasts to the marinade, ensuring they are fully coated. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes. This step is crucial; it allows the flavors to seep into the chicken.

Step 3: Cook the Chicken

  • Heat a grill or skillet over medium heat. Once hot, place the marinated chicken onto the grill and cook for about seven minutes per side or until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through.

Step 4: Prepare the Rolls

  • While your chicken is cooking, toast your kaiser rolls. A light toasting will help prevent them from becoming soggy once you add the juicy chicken.

Step 5: Assemble the Sandwich

  • Spread a bit of Dijon mustard on the bottom half of each roll. Place a piece of chicken on top. Add slices of tomato and a crisp lettuce leaf. Finally, cap it off with the top half of the roll.

Step 6: Serve and Enjoy

  • Slice your sandwich in half for a satisfying presentation and serve it hot with your favorite sides.

  • Use Bone-In Chicken: For those who like more flavor, try bone-in chicken breasts. They tend to be juicier when cooked.
