Ingredients
  

  • 2 crisp shredded carrots
  • 2 thinly sliced onions
  • 2 heads shredded green cabbage
  • 12 tablespoons light vegetable oil avoid using olive oil
  • 1 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 12 tablespoons sweet sugar
  • Salt and Black pepper to taste

Instructions
 

STEP 1 – Prepare the Vegetables:

  • Shred 2 crisp carrots finely.
  • Thinly slice 2 onions.
  • Shred 2 heads of green cabbage. Make sure it’s finely shredded.

STEP 2 – Combine Vegetables:

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded carrots, sliced onions, and shredded cabbage. Mix them well to distribute evenly.

STEP 3 – Prepare Dressing:

  • In a separate bowl, whisk together 12 tablespoons of light vegetable oil, 1 cup of tangy apple cider vinegar, and 12 tablespoons of sweet sugar. Mix until the sugar is completely dissolved.

STEP 4 – Combine Dressing with Vegetables:

  • Pour the dressing over the shredded vegetables. Toss the vegetables with the dressing until they are well coated.

STEP 5 – Seasoning:

  • Season the coleslaw with salt and black pepper according to your taste preferences. Mix well to ensure even distribution of the seasoning.

STEP 6 – Marinate:

  • Allow the coleslaw to marinate for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator. This will allow the flavors to meld and the vegetables to absorb the dressing.
